NIKI VELLA-POWER
Since 1997 Niki has been performing regularly as an entertainer at clubs, restaurants, piano bars, hotels and private events. Her love of music began in her early years when she composed her first song before attending school. As a young girl Niki discovered a passion for literature and became an avid poet. She began entertaining as a singer-pianist in restaurants and piano bars in 1997.
A graduate of the Mackay Conservatorium of Music, Niki attained a Bachelor of Music Performing Arts. She then added a teaching degree and taught school intermittently, but her first love continued to be songwriting and performing. Over the years her repertoire has increased and she sings jazz, pop, gospel, classic and contemporary rock.
Niki has won many awards and released four albums of original music. Her song “Born in Boots” received air play both nationally and internationally. The video for the same song was featured on the Country Music Chanel.
